Very nice gym


I got to stay at Anantara for one night and it was a wonderful night!

FX Hotel Makkasan Bangkok

TV+desk+minibar area
(hmm modern?!) cloth hanging area just next to the TV
Very small bathroom
2 complimentary water bottles but....no tea&coffee : (

Nice and cozy bed...it is a little too small for two people but not manageable.

Nice reception area.

All in all, this is a new hotel near airport link; Makkasan and MRT (Petchaburi).
Pros:
Cheap and clean
friendly staffs
near public transportation
easy access to many shopping malls and tourist destinations

Cons:
Small room
not many things to do in the area

So if you are looking for a cheap place to stay, this would be the one for you.
However, for first time visitors in Bangkok, I'd recommend to stay some other hotels.
Because you would want to stay right in the middle of attractions such as Sukumvit, Siamsquare , Chinatown, or Koasan Rd area. ; )
