The Kala Samui is a small luxury hotel on Samui Island. There are total
of 38 guest rooms and 8 private pool villas. For this trip, I stayed in
Deluxe room which has an amazing panoramic view of Gulf of Thailand.
The
best thing about this Resort is that it is located up on a hill so you
can enjoy the panoramic view of the sea. You can also walk down to the
multipurpose patio [for private romantic dinner or even for wedding ceremony] and the rocky area right next to the ocean.
My room is pretty big and offers a great view.
I haven't tried the breakfast here yet but maybe next time I will visit
this resort again since the pool villas look so gorgeous and I've read
many great reviews on these units. Anyway the Kala is definitely a
perfect place for family or a couple who seek a nice getaway on Koh
Samui but it may not be the place for elderly since guests will have to climb up
and down the stairs and it could be difficult for them.
All in all I really enjoy my time here even for a
night and looking forward to visit this place again in the future.

The resort is not huge but it offers many things for guests such as kayaking/spa/dining outlets

Huge rocks spread out in resort area which add extra charm to the property.
Board walk for outdoor activities - dinner setup or even wedding ceremony
Sunrise on a clear day is so value added to the property
